How do I use a Quick Fix alongside worming?
Anthelmintic products (wormers) are used regularly to keep a horse worm-free. Wormers can disrupt the microbiota causing a temporary dysbiosis (imbalance). A short course of probiotics before, during and after the worming regime can re-establish the horses gut microbiota. Quick Fix is perfect for this purpose. It can be given at twice the standard amount the day before, day of, and day after worming. There are no contraindications to giving Quick Fix alongside a wormer. Most horses like the taste of a Quick Fix, so it can even make them more amenable to worming!

Tack box essential
Travelling is stressful on the gut, particularly when it may be quite lengthy and involve overnight stay prior to competition. Using Quick Fix gives me the confidence I am minimising the risk of damage and upset from avid splash. It keeps my two calm, happy and comfortable travelling. In fact they never stop eating!

A staple in my competition kit!
Quick fix has quite literally changed my life when competing with a horse whose gut does not cope well with the stress of travel and competition. Not only is he not loose anymore, he is also happier to eat and drink whilst away from home where he would previously refuse food and water, the only difference has been the introduction of quick fix.

Essential part of my equestrian care arsenal
I find Quick Fix fabulous for a variety of situations. I use it regularly before travelling as it settles the stomach and helps prevent acid splash. It's also great for when the grass flushes and post worming. All things which upset my somewhat sensitive mare. There's always a syringe in my feed room and horsebox.

Quick Fix Fantastic
I have a 15 year old ex polo pony that has numerous mild cases of gassy colics. Trying to reduce the severity and frequency has been trial and error for the last year with monitoring diet, exercise and metabolism. Gut balancer is a daily staple but any sudden changes in grass - esp with very changeable weather conditions I use quick fix when gut sounds become marginally more lively and so far it seems to be doing the job! It’s been a combined effort with my vet, a qualified nutritionist and brilliant advice from the Protexin Veterinary team. I’ve used it in the past with my older horses to support them during worming and one mare that struggled with stressful situations- def helped. Wish I could bulk buy a supply 👌🏻
