Can Fifteen Plus be used instead of Gut Balancer?
Whilst Fifteen Plus contains a lower level of probiotic than Gut Balancer it is sufficient for the majority of senior horses. Those that require extra help may benefit from the additional support of Gut Balancer at half the usual daily amount. Fifteen Plus contains the same Preplex prebiotics as Gut Balancer.
Can Fifteen Plus be used instead of Acid Ease for my older horse?
Acid Ease contains ingredients specifically targeted to help calm excess acid which are not found in Fifteen Plus. If you think your horse would benefit from additional support for their stomach please continue using Acid Ease alongside Fifteen Plus.
Fifteen Plus supports joints. Can it be used instead of Cosequin Equine or other joint support products?
Fifteen Plus provides support for joints, through the inclusion of glucosamine, highly bioavailable curcumin and omega-3s. This will be sufficient support for most senior horses, but some, such as those in regular hard work, will benefit from the additional support of Cosequin Equine. Cosequin Equine is our most advanced joint support product and contains two well-researched ingredients at high levels - Glucosamine HCl (FCHG49®) and Chondroitin Sulphate (TRH122®).
Can Fifteen Plus be given to horses prone to laminitis?
Yes, Fifteen Plus is suitable for horses with laminitis.
Can Fifteen Plus be used every day for an older horse?
Absolutely. The product is designed to be fed continuously to support the older horse.

Joints
I have tried and tested many joint supplements, but when I heard of proxtein fifteen plus supplement I thought why not give it a go, so I did and have been using now for the past year or so, I’m so glad I did cause it has changed my horse’s life completely, I haven’t had any problems with her since I started using this supplement, happy horse = happy owner, I urge everyone to at least try this supplement, highly recommend

Perfect for Golden Oldies
My rescue pony has been on Fifteen Plus for almost a year now and she looks amazing. Lovely shine to her coat and it’s lovely to see her bounce round the field playing with her friends. Brilliant product.

Great stuff
I have a horse with tummy and joint issues. He has a lot of supplements and i thought i would give this a go. Happy to say its worked helped with his stiffness and still keeping his tummy issues in check. Highly recommend.

Great all-rounder supplement
After using the gut sponge I thought I would try this supplement. After a couple of weeks my lad is a lot happier and less stiff and his sloppy poo issues are also kept at bay. Great all-rounder supplement and it must taste good cos paddy loves it.

Fabulous whatever the age
I have my 3yr old on this supplement as its was so many varieties of use as an alround supplement. It smells fabulous and obviously must taste it as no trickery required to get it eaten. I like to think prevention is better than cure in all aspects of life.

Great stuff!
I was recommended this for my veteran (24 Yr old) boy by his physio; as well as general age-related stiffness he had anxiety issues and a tendency to drop weight very quickly. Protexin 15 Plus has made a remarkable difference to his well-being - he's much more supple, calmer and generally just "better" and happier in himself. Other supplements may come and go, but a year in and Protexin is the one I make sure I NEVER run out of!

Worth every penny
I feel reassured that my veteran mare is on Fifteen Plus. She is 27 years old and is very special to me. I hope it will help protect her from colic in her advancing years. She seems to be holding weight better since she's been on it.
