Protexin Ambassadors success at Aston Le Walls

The Protexin Equine Premium brand ambassadors were out in force last weekend at Aston le Walls horse trials in Northamptonshire. In a star studded field, our riders recorded wins and several placings in the Advanced and Intermediate sections. Since the resumption of the sport in July, riders have enjoyed a new socially distanced sport with a maximum of  250 competitors per day. Due to high demand, Aston le Walls extended the 4 day show by an extra 2 days to accommodate a total of 1500 competitors. Protexin Equine Premium have been long term sponsors of the world class venue at Aston and it’s great to see our riders having success here!

2019 Badminton Horse Trials winner Piggy French continued her fantastic form to come 2nd and 3rd in the Advanced with ‘Brookfield Quality’ and ‘Brookfield Inocent’. Piggy also won an intermediate section with ‘Brookfield Cavalier Cruise’. Also in the Advanced Finland’s Pauliina Swindells had an excellent ride on board her 2017 European Championship and 2018 World Equestrian Games ride ‘Ferro S’ to finish 5th. Mike Winter and ‘El Mundo’ also finished a respectable 12th, a horse that we follow with great interest here at Protexin as he is part owned by our Equine Director Jonathan Nelson.

In the Intermediate, Surrey based Harry Dzenis had a great result with ‘My Eastwood Brightside’ finishing 2nd. Harry had 6 horses competing over the week and was very pleased with the other horses who stepped up to Advanced and Intermediate for the first time. Protexin Equine Premium riders had some great finishing scores in the Intermediate sections including Alex Bragg (5th with Shannondale Aristo) and Matt Heath  (6th  with Golden Recipe).

We look forward to following our eventing brand ambassadors progress over the next few weeks with entries at Burgham in Northumbland and Wellington in Berkshire .
