Acid Ease is a unique, concentrated, palatable combination of high quality fibres, calcium and magnesium carbonate, kaolin, amino acids and Protexin probiotics and prebiotics. Presented as a palatable dandelion flavoured powder, Acid Ease is suitable to calm excess acid in all horses and weaned foals.
Acid Ease contains calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, as well as kaolin, pectin and L-threonine which together act to buffer excess acid and soothe the gut lining. The probiotic Saccharomyces cerevisiae contains numerous essential amino acids, vitamins, including vitamin B6, and important minerals. The high quality fibres - pectin and psyllium help make this a superior product, and in combination with S. cerevisiae they promote the production of nutrients which support the gut lining.

Yes it is safe to give Acid Ease alongside a pharmaceutical such as omeprazole.
Can I give Acid Ease long term?
Yes, Acid Ease is safe to use to support optimal gastrointestinal pH for long periods. The daily amount given can be reduced to the maintenance level for long term use.
Can I give Acid Ease and Gut Balancer together?
Acid Ease contains a high concentration of probiotic organisms which should be sufficient for most horses. However, for additional probiotic support Gut Balancer can safely be given alongside Acid Ease.

Acid Ease, a game changer
I have tried other gut supplements which I’ve never felt have made a noticeable improvement on my horses, especially one of them who has really suffered with grass. If there’s too much, too sweet, too wet, too much in the way of broadleaf weeds eg clover, he has a really gassy stomach, persistent loose droppings and multiple gas colic episodes. Along with other measures we introduced Acid Ease. His droppings instantly improved. His gaseous tummy also. We also now have him in a grass muzzle so he can’t gorge himself and he is noticeably calmer in nature, better rideability and looks so much healthier. The difference is amazing. And where I was worried that the muzzle would make him lose weight, it’s actually been the contrary. Because his guts aren’t so agitated he is absorbing better and his condition is actually improving. I would not be without Acid Ease and have put my other horse on it too so they both have the ultimate stomach/gut support.

Bought to try
Bought to try for my pony. I used it twice a day for about 3 weeks, using a whole tub. She has not been seen by a vet, but I wanted to try something before calling one out. She is showing symptoms of tummy pain. I didn’t think it was doing anything to help, but having used 1 whole tub, and now stopped giving it to her, she seems worse than when I was using it. I am planning to try a gut balancer next.

Excellent for alpacas too
We have used Acid Ease on one of our horses since running up a massive vets bill when we suspected ulcers but they said no !! After a gastroscope showing large ulcers, we started using acid ease and the change has been astounding. We now have an elderly alpaca that we started on it, and it has made a huge impact on him, his health is so much better. We cannot manage without Acid Ease !!

Wouldn’t be without it
Wouldn’t be without this product, has made such a difference to his comfort and in turn his schooling etc. Gives me peace of mind that this will keep him on an even keel as his diet changes, eg spring grass
