Has worked wonders for my Thoroughbred. A change of feed plus a move on to lush grass. With gut balancer used daily we have had no upset tummy.

I rarely leave reviews, but felt I had to as I cannot believe how good this product is.  We switched our young ex racer (with no history of grazing issues before) around for their Summer grazing. Within three days, he was very gassy, and diagnosed with mild colic. Internal tests and bloods were clear and he was given painkillers and although he was still eating / drinking and passing liquids and solids, the Vet advised to make all foodstuffs wet. As imagined, that made his droppings like water and coupled with the prolonged gas, it wasn’t a happy combination. We went back to dry bay but for three days he still had very wet and loose stools. I read into gut balancers and skeptically purchased. Within two days of adding to his feed, our horse has no gas, reduced back to passing a normal amount (instead of 20+ little piles a day) and consistency has returns to his droppings. After owning horses for close to 35 years and seeing a LOT of fads, I cannot believe how much this has helped return our horse back to normal. Would highly recommend.  Thank you! 

Great product, stop my mare being girthy and no more buck

Having a mare who’s girthy has always been an issue when tacking up with her swinging about. Since using the Gut Balancer she’s a lot more settled and relaxed when doing the girth up and no nipping which is a massive win for me.

Love this product, my mare suffers with a type of ibd/ffws and gets diarrhoea at the slightest upset, this product helps to keep her tummy settled and feeling good in herself. Also have to mention that I have always had super fast delivery and great service from Protexin. 

My horse came to me with a history of suspected ulcers. I give him this daily to help support his gut.

Both my mare and gelding are on this daily. Happy tummies happy mummy....
