Acid Ease is a unique, concentrated, palatable combination of high quality fibres, calcium, kaolin, amino acids and now includes a full tribiotic (prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic) offering. Presented as a palatable dandelion flavoured powder, Acid Ease is suitable to calm excess acid in all horses and weaned foals.
Acid Ease contains calcium carbonate and kaolin, pectin and L-threonine which together act to buffer excess acid and soothe the gut lining. The probiotic Saccharomyces cerevisiae contains numerous essential amino acids, vitamins, including vitamin B6, and important minerals.
All Protexin Equine supplements are complementary feeds - designed to provide nutrition, as well as support digestive function and efficiency.

Why Should I Choose Acid Ease over Gut Balancer
Gut Balancer contains a probiotic and prebiotics to support the hindgut and everyday gut health. Acid Ease contains calcium carbonate, a combination of fibres, kaolin and amino acids, which are more specifically working to support buffering of excess acid levels and soothe the gut lining. However, Acid Ease also contains a probiotic, prebiotic, and a newly-added postbiotic; similarly to the ingredients in Gut Balancer, these work to support the hindgut and overall gut health - so in most cases there is no need to feed Gut Balancer with Acid Ease
Can I give Acid Ease and Omeprazole together?
Yes it is safe to give Acid Ease alongside a pharmaceutical such as omeprazole. Please check individual timings with your vet.
Can I give Acid Ease long term?
Yes, Acid Ease is safe to use to support optimal gastrointestinal pH for long periods. The daily amount given can be reduced to the maintenance level for long term use.
Can I give Acid Ease and Gut Balancer together?
Acid Ease contains a high concentration of probiotic organisms which should be sufficient for most horses. However, for additional probiotic support Gut Balancer can safely be given alongside Acid Ease.

Game changer
Can honestly say this product has been the best gut supplement I’ve ever used on my horses (and I’ve tried a few!). Within a matter of a few days there was a distinct improvement in their comfort and in their droppings which went from cow pats to nuggets in a couple of days. Would not be without it now

Acid Ease
Using the Acis Ease in conjunction with the gut balancer. Really pleased with how he has responded. Droppings are better, less watery and he seems calmer. He can get quite stressed at times.

Acid ease
My gelding became awful to touch, you couldn’t put a rug on him without him trying to bite you, putting a saddle on his back was a different story. I have been using this prouduct for a week now and omg, he’s gone from a grumpy angry horse to back to been his normal self. He lets me put his rugs on now issue and today I popped his roller on and there was no grith issues so happy owner happy horseÂ

Eventually recognised courier had lost my order and was told product was out of stock I was unaware stock was available in a smaller pack and was not offered this option by customer services Had to reorder Not at all helpfulÂ
